Stanley Iverson

Stanley M. Iverson, 90, of Conrad, IA passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the Iowa River Hospice Home, in Marshalltown. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 W. Main St., Marshalltown. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery, in Marshalltown. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com Stan was born November 1, 1926 to Sam and Onnie (Medhus) Iverson in LeGrand Township, LeGrand, Iowa. He graduated from Dunbar High School, in Dunbar, IA and attended Iowa State University, in Ames, IA. Stan served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was united in marriage to Barbara Phillips on August 27, 1950. Stan farmed the rural Marshall County area and was especially proud of his cattle feeding business.
