oot the manufacturing of Caravan Products all over the U.S. He eventually relocated to Des Moines, IA, and took on the Hy-Vee Food Store account. In 1998, he came to Marshalltown and opened another Davis-Sutton Bakery and amazed and astounded many town-people with his baked goods. To this day, people still remember the bakery and the astounding donuts and angel food cakes. He moved on to Bakery Manager for Dahls Food Store in Des Moines. Most recently, Larry could be found soaking up the sun and sounds of small children and animals at the Blank Park Zoo, Des Moines, painting tigers and butterflies on faces of children of all ages. When not working, throughout his life Larry was an avid runner and ran many marathons. He also greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children, listening to music, gardening, raising bees and harvesting the honey, and playing his harmonica. Larry is remembered by the women in his life whom he loved, his children, sons Lawrence and Edward Davis, daughters Angela, Courtney, Kaitlyn, Kathleen, and grandchildren, Lawrence Jr., Daniel, and Claudia, and all who very much loved him in return.
