DELBERT WAGLERMUSCATINE, Iowa - Delbert E. Wagler, 92, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Anita Zahniser of the Community of Christ Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.

Delbert was born on February 18, 1925, in Muscatine, the son of Phillip and Mary Carrithers Wagler. He married Geraldine Schumacher on August 25, 1946, in Muscatine. She preceded him in death on August 18, 2016.

. He loved to vacation in Colorado, enjoyed the mountains, and treasured spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching sports and was an avid die hard Cub fan.
Those left to honor his memory include two sons, Randall Wagler and wife, Jennifer, of Muscatine, and Chris Wagler and wife, Kay, of Letts; three grandchildren, Mark Wagler and wife, Misty, Michelle Boss and husband, Nathan, and Matthew Wagler and wife, Morgan; and four great-grandchildren, Phoebe, Natalie and Nora Wagler and Kenna Boss.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one grandson, Brent Wagler; and his siblings, Clarence, Bob, Don, Phyllis, Millie, and Bea.
