Duane Bishop
Duane Lee Bishop, age 77, of Knoxville, Iowa passed away January 13, 2018 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa.
Duane born October 02, 1940 in Knoxville, Iowa. He is the son of Donald Bishop and Myrle (Cummings) Bishop. Duane lived is life in Knoxville and graduated with the Class of 1958.
On February 14, 1962, Duane was united in Marriage to the love of his life, Betty Lou DeLong. To this union three children were born; LuAnn, Jeff, and Stuart.
Duane worked hard his entire life, he was worked for Maytag for many years; and construction, as a Bulldozer Operator and farming.
Duane will be dearly missed by those who survive him. Those left to cherish Duane's memories are his wife of 55 years, Betty Bishop; three children, LuAnn Patchett (Jim), Jeff Bishop (Michelle), and Stuart Bishop; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Duane's wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.
Memorials may be given in Duane's name to Hospice of Central Iowa in Knoxville.
