Karen D. Ruth

Karen D. Ruth, age 72, died peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her home in Horsham after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Abington, Karen was the daughter of the late William and Winifred (nee Bird) Duke. Mrs. Ruth was a 1963 graduate of Jenkintown High School and attended Temple University. She was the Treasurer of Insurance Data Processing, Inc. in Wyncote for forty years prior to her illness. Karen was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She loved her cop dramas and reading on the beach. Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Robert C. Ruth. She is the loving mother of Debbie Jefferson and her husband Wayne of Roslyn, and the proud grandmother of Nicole and Kyle Jefferson.
