Alexander J. "Popsie" Pryll, III 84, of Carmel, departed this life Monday, January 15, 2018 in Indianapolis. Alex was born April 22, 1933 in Bloomfield, NJ to the late Alexander J. and Anastasia (Donnovowicz) Pryll, II. He grew up and attended schools in New Jersey and attended Newark College of Engineering as well as Seton Hall University and IUPUI. He was a talented engineer for RCA Corporation for over 23 years, retiring in 1993. While at RCA, Alex earned many accolades for his innovative contributions. He was a dedicated family man who volunteered as a Scout Den Master and was involved with Junior Achievement USA. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was happiest being with his beloved family and taking a drive in his red Jeep. Alex is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruby Lee Pryll and his son John G. Pryll. He is survived by his devoted children, Donna (Robert) Bryant, Gary (Valerie) Pryll, Alexander (Susan) Pryll, IV and Darlene Bickel; his nine grateful grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
