Herschel Wayne Sisk

Herschel Wayne Sisk, age 73 of Winchester, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Sunday morning, January 21, 2018. A native of Franklin County, Wayne was born in Winchester on May 12, 1944 to the late Joe and Helen Sisk. Wayne graduated from Franklin County High School with the Class of 1962 and attended Middle Tennessee State College in Murfreesboro. He and Patsy married on November 1, 1963, and Wayne joined his father in the Dry Cleaning Business. After his father's passing in June 1965, Wayne became the heart and soul of Sisk Cleaners. He often referred to Winchester as "the garden spot of the world," and cherished his relationships with so many interesting folks he met over the years. Wayne was "at home" when at the cleaners talking one on one with his customers. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Dotson (Sammy); and brother, Bruce Sisk (Linda). Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patsy Jones Sisk; sons, Steve Sisk (Gwin) and Joey Sisk; daughter, Lori Sisk; grandchildren, Ashton (Adam) Barnett, Dylan Sisk, and Andy (Kennerly) Norton; and great-grandchild, Wyatt Norton.
