at Chestnut Hill Hospital and North Penn Visiting Nurses Association on weekends. In addition, she became active in the Upper Dublin Citizens Legislative Committee, elected Corresponding Secretary in 1975 and President in 1979. In 1979, she was elected to the Board of School Directors in Upper Dublin Township School District, and from 1979 to 1985 she served as the Board Vice President for 3 years and Chairman of Personnel Committee for 3 years. During which time she began working as a Psychiatric Nurse and Charge Nurse for several inpatient psychiatric hospitals in the Montgomery County Area, and did so up until she retired in 2005. Mrs. Buczkowski was a member of the Holy Martyrs Catholic Church where she helped with Aid for Friends along with various other community outreach education and support programs. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the Jersey shore in Ocean City and Stone Harbor, NJ, as well as, attending the Philadelphia Orchestra. Mary Ellen is remembered as always being on the move, upbeat and full of energy, and as a compassionate person who dedicated much of her life to serving the church and others. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, January 29, 2018 from 9:15 to 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's of Padua Church, 259 Forest Ave. Ambler. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Stephen H.
