Arnold Duane Andree, 79, of South Sioux City, NE died Friday, January 26, 2018 at Regency Square Care Center in South Sioux City, NE Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday, January 29, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of Dakota City in Dakota City, NE with Rev. Jaime Farias officiating. Burial will be in the Magnet Cemetery in Magnet, NE. Visitation with the family present will be 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Arnold was born January 12, 1939 in Olivet, SD, the son of Harry and Viola (Herman) Andree. He went to school through the 8th grade in Menno, SD. He joined the U.S. Army in 1960, and left in 1962 as a Sergeant. Arnold married Connie Nelson on October 2, 1975 at the Magnet Methodist Church. He worked at Hawkeye Building Supply for 30 years, where he delivered lumber. He was a member of the Dakota City American Legion Post 376, serving as a County Commander, and was also a member of the United Methodist Church of Dakota City, where he served as a Trustee. Survivors include his wife, Connie (Nelson), along with her 3 brothers and 3 sisters; 1 sister, Minnie & Terry Rook of Clear Lake, SD; 1 brother, Jens and Sharon Andree of Woonsocket, SD; brother-in-law, Lonnie Parrill of Hubbard, NE; sister-in-law, Anita Andree of Fresno, CA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Donald, Jim Roy, Everett and Saniford (Sandy) Andree; and 1 sister, Donna Mae Parrill.
