ughy, Nebraska was a favorite place to camp and fish and he spent time there with his family nearly every summer while growing up. He loved to play pool and actually spent time visiting and shooting pool with his Dad on the day that he passed. One of his favorite places was Lake Loveland. You could often see his car parked there. Sitting in his car, listening to his music, especially at the lake, was Mike's 'soul food'. Another passion of Mike's was family. He dearly loved his children Sarah and Bryan so much. He was very proud of their accomplishments and often boasted about them both. He loved attending all of their activities. Bryan was an avid soccer and football player, while Sarah was dedicated to volleyball and figure skating. Both children graduated from Colorado State University and have successful careers. Mike was proceeded in death by his best friend John Schindler, Jr., or 'Johnny' by all that knew and loved him. Johnny passed away on June 7, 2000 in a motorcycle accident. Mike never fully recovered from the loss of Johnny. He visited his gravesite at least once a month from the day that John passed. It is comforting to us, as survivors, to know that he will now be reunited with Johnny. Mike met his fiancee' Tamera Dungan in 2015 and was engaged May 15, 2016. In just a few short years together they made a lot of memories. Mike considered Tamera's daughter, Shaylin, to be his daughter as well. Together, they all were building a future. Tamera considers Mike to be the love of her life. Survivors are father Eugene Bott, mother Gail Bott, daughter Sarah Bott, son Bryan Bott, fiancee' Tamera Dungan, stepdaughter Shaylin Finch, sister Lisa Bott Rennick with fiancée Phil Mahan, sister Karen Bott Audette with husband Brian Audette, along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
