Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jean Vaughn, age 87, of Livingston will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2014 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. David Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in the Robbins Cemetery in Oak Grove. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 9 p.m., on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of services.Mrs. Vaughn passed away January 25, 2014 at the Overton County Nursing Home in Livingston. She was born July 2, 1926 in Jackson County to the late James Lula Robbins West. She was a Teachers Aid in the Overton County School System. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.She is survived by her sons, Danny Vaughn wife Mattie of Dade City, Florida, Jim Vaughn wife Angela of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Chris Vaughn of Athens, Alabama; sister, Jackie Masters of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; 3 Grandsons, 1 Granddaughter, 1 Great Grandson.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glen R. Vaughn; 3 sisters, Elene Girdley, Johnnie Little, Jimmie Goolsby.Pallbearers to serve are Dustin Vaughn, Tyler Vaughn, Johnnie Vaughn, Dwain Bilbrey, Dewayne York, Shawn Allred. [more]
