Funeral services for Mr. Glenn Thomas Speck, age 62, of the Spring Creek Community will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Nolan Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in the Netherland Cemetery in Rickman. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. Glenn passed from this life at the UT Medical Center on Monday afternoon March 7, 2016. He was born in Putnam County on December 17, 1953 to the late Willie Q. & Kedna Bilbrey Speck. He was a farmer, brick mason, and logger. He was affiliated with the Netherland Church of Christ, was a member of the SCV Myers-Zollicoffer Camp #1990, a graduate of Rickman High School Class of 1971, and loved being in the outdoors & living off the land. He is survived by 2 brothers, Thurman Speck & wife, Donna and William Roger Speck, both of the Spring Creek Community; nephew, Chris Speck & wife, Wendy of Livingston; great-nieces, Madelyn, Emma, & Katie Speck and a great-nephew, Morgan Speck all of Livingston; several cousins and many friends of the Spring Creek Community.
