Sammie Glen Alexander

Mr. Sammie Glen Alexander, age 66, of Bloomington Springs in Jackson County passed away April 16, 2016 at his home. He was born March 13, 1950 in Dayton, OH to the late Dester and Nannie Jewell Johnson Alexander. He was a truck driver for the Flagship Truck Lines. He loved motorcycles and being a truck driver which he did for 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Alexander of Bloomington Springs; sons, Sammie Alexander Jr. & Dester Alexander both of Bloomington Springs and David Kalter of Dayton, OH ; daughters, Elizabeth Ashley Alexander of Bloomington Springs, Katherine Hyder of Jackson Lake, GA, and Sheli Smith of Dayton, OH; and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Michael Ellis Alexander and an infant brother. There are no services planned at this time.[more]
