Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Kirkpatrick, age 76, of the Flatt Creek Community will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Rick Cross officiating. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Mrs. Kirkpatrick passed from this life on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her home. She was born January 23, 1940 in Overton County to the late Jasper and Sally Brown Talley. She was a housewife and Baptist in faith. She loved spending time with her family, loved gardening, cooking, & sewing. She is survived by sons, Mike Boles & wife, Lisa and Mark Boles all of Livingston; a daughter, Melanie Jackson of Livingston; a brother, Marion Talley of Las Vegas, NV; and grandchildren, Julie (& Timmy) Ray, Jamie (& Matt) Melton, Peyton Boles, Brad Jackson, Cody Jackson, Keelyn (& Deven) Ramsey, Christian Boles, and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1st husband: Harould Boles, 2nd husband: Robert Kirkpatrick, twin sons: Donnie & David Boles, brothers: Paul and Odell Talley, and a sister: Mary Jo Poston.[more]
