William J. Remley

William J. Remley 97, died on January 30, 2018 at his residence in Port Charlotte, Florida Born in Middelboro, Indiana on February 14, 1920. Moved to Springfield, OH as a young boy. He entered the Navy in June 1938. He met the love of his life in Philadelphia, PA in 1940. Charlotte and Bill were married in June of 1941. His wife, Charlotte, preceded him in death as well as his son, William Jay, and daughter, Penny Sue Lord. He is survived by his 4 remaining children, Harriet Magazu of Buena, NJ, Charlotte Banks of Rotonda West, FL, Floyd Remley of Vineland NJ, and Terry Pronia of Port Charlotte, FL He is also survived by his 11 Grandchildren and 37 Great Grandchildren. He survived 2 wars and was a member of DoLittles Raiders. He retired from the Navy after 22 years, the US State Department, and the New Jersey State Health Department.
