Vincent Michael Dougherty

Vince Dougherty, 71, passed away suddenly on February 5th in Fort Lauderdale. Vince, originally from Kingston, NY, is survived by his wife of 42 years Onnie, his daughter Dr. Stacy Dougherty-Welch, son-in-law Dr. Tommy Welch, daughter Courtney, and granddaughter Harper Rae Welch. He was a graduate of Kingston High School class of 1965, and Dutchess Community College, and worked at IBM as a purchaser for 25 years. He successfully transitioned to retail management until retirement. Vince lived life to the fullest and danced until almost the last minute, lighting up the world with his contagious laughter and smile. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Vince to a memorial mass on Friday February 9th at 10am at St. Anthony's in Fort Lauderdale. There will also be a Celebration of his life on February 17th from 12-4 at Frank Guido's Little Italy in Kingston, NY.
