Servando Villa, 91, passed away to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Valley Grande Manor. Mr. Villa was born March 11, 1926 to Guadalupe & Santos Villa in Mercedes, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Consuelo Villa; 1 granddaughter, Corina Sanchez; 3 brothers Guadalupe Villa, Jr., Raul Villa, Beto Villa & 1 sister, Eloisa Villa. Mr. Villa is survived by 2 sons, Servando Villa, Jr. (Janie), Noe Villa (Rebecca), both of Mercedes, TX; 3 daughters, Audelia Villa, Elma Villa (Adan Resendez), both of Mercedes, TX; Ida Sanchez (Ruben) of Weslaco, TX; 2 brothers, Pancho Villa, Ernesto Villa, both of Mercedes, TX & 1 sister, Juanita Piña of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens with a 7:00 p.m. rosary.
