Donald Beers

Donald Richard Beers, 88, passed away on February 10, 2018 in Hamilton, Ohio. Don was born on May 6, 1929 in Sidney, OH to Raymond and Iva Beers. He was a 1947 graduate of Sidney High School. Don served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1948-1952 during which time he served as a Ranger. He was also a proud member of The American Legion. Don's love for people and outgoing personality served him well in a career in sales that spanned over three decades. Don was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years - Dorothy Elizabeth Beers; sisters - Norma Jean Cotterman and Barbara Sue Cole; and brother - Robert Beers. Don is survived by his six children - Rick Beers of Hamilton, OH; Kathy Winters (John) of Centerville, OH; Larry Beers of Palmdale, CA; David Beers (Angie) of Sun City, AZ; Mark Beers (Paula) of Hamilton OH; and Denise Jewell (Mark) of West Chester, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; a brother - Jerry Beers of Sidney; sister - Carol Cavinder of Sidney and numerous nieces and nephews.
