JoAnn Mary Clark Goldsworthy, 91, passed peacefully on February 10, 2018. She was born in Malden, Massachusetts on May 29, 1926, a daughter of the late Alfred Clarke and Anna Grace (Edwards) Fiske. She married Maurice (Moe) Clark of Boston, Massachusetts in 1948. In 1978 She married Vance Goldsworthy of Indianapolis, Indiana JoAnn graduated from Malden High School and Katharine Gibbs School of Executive Secretaries in Boston, Mass. Her professional career started at American Airlines. She worked at Shumate Business Forms in Lebanon, Indiana as a secretary-receptionist from August 1964 until her retirement in May, 1988. Still interested in keeping busy, she worked part time at Parisian's Department Store in customer service. JoAnn attended St. Christopher's Parish and was a devout Catholic. She belonged to Psi Iota Xi Sorority She enjoyed knitting, reading, playing bridge and later in life she took up painting. She was a devoted parent to her children's extracurricular activities and attended as many of their sporting events as possible. e never missed a home Colts game, and more importantly, they would be the first, and sometimes the only, fans at the airport to greet the team from road trips, win or lose. She was preceded in death by her sister Jean Edwards and husband Vance Goldsworthy. Survivors include her daughter Susan Clark Collins of Lafayette, California, sons David Clark of Rockford, Michigan and Bruce Clark of Brownsburg, Indiana, six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15th from 5-7p.m. at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel 740 East 86th St. Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Christopher's Parish in Speedway. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Sunshine Social Club.
