ted in the High School Jazz Band. He spent the last night of his life getting ready to start a Garage Band with some of his friends. Drumming came naturally to Griffin. He loved to learn from his dad and has passed his skills on to his cousins. Griffin was active in the Blackhawk Church Youth Group and spent the past few summers participating in Madison Mission Week. He developed a close relationship with Pastor Ben when his father passed away last fall. He craved knowledge and felt it important to make sense of what seemed insurmountable. His faith was strong. Griffin is survived by his mother, Annie McGrath and his sister, Caitlin as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles. His bright, energetic, inquisitive spirit will be missed each and every day. He is preceded in death by his father, Christopher McGrath. Griffin was one in a million and had a bright future ahead of him. His loss is nothing short of devastating to those who knew him, especially his family and close friends. A funeral service will be held at BLACKHAWK CHURCH, 9620 Brader Way, Middleton, on Monday, February 19, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ben Knox presiding. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to G.A.S.P. (Games Adolescents Shouldn't Play). No other family should have to endure this heartbreaking loss.
