Judy K. Fuoss

Judy Kay Fuoss was born November 22, 1952, at Algona, Iowa, to Roscoe and Dorothy (Reynolds) Fuoss. She graduated from Garrigan High School in 1971, then worked for the Candlelight Motel, Brougham Industries, the Algona Reminder and Algona Publishing before moving to Mount Pleasant, Iowa, in 1988, where she worked for the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Quality Assurance. Judy became ill in September of 2010, and moved to Mason City to be near her sister Theresa and husband David. In her younger years, Judy enjoyed playing softball, shooting pool and playing darts. She also played in the High School Band. Later she enjoyed collecting record albums, and Elvis memorabilia. She was active in the Children's Miracle Network in fund raising and enjoyed her pet cat. Judy died on Sunday morning, March 6, 2011, at the Muse Norris Inpatient Unit in Mason City at the age of 58. Survivors include her mother Dorothy Fuoss of Algona, her brother Thomas Fuoss and wife Cynthia of Sheldon, Iowa, Timothy Fuoss and wife Caryl of Whittemore, Iowa and sister, Theresa and husband David Frank of Mason City, Iowa.
