nding all his grandchildren's many sporting events. He enjoyed playing pool and he was very proud of his Irish heritage. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus; and a 70 year member of the Bancroft American Legion. Kenneth J. Mulligan died Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Accura Healthcare Center, Bancroft at the age of 93. He had been a resident there since 2014. He is survived by five children, Vickie (Roger) Godfredsen of Milford, Steve (Teresa) Mulligan of Bancroft, Dan (Allison) Mulligan of Mesa, AZ, Nancy (Brian) Hatten of Bancroft, and Julie (Phil Goche) Laubenthal of Bancroft; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Marjie Menke of West Des Moines, and Marilyn (Jack) Healey of Louisville, NE; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Kelly Mulligan on June 23, 2015; his wife, Maxine on October 4, 2017; his parents; and his siblings, Thomas Mulligan, Joseph, Richard and Lawrence Mulligan in infancy, Maxine Borris, Arthur Mulligan, Monica Fuchs, and Patrick Mulligan.
