Robert E. Golding, 51, Mesa Arizona, passed away suddenly on February 20th, 2018 in his home in Mesa Arizona. Rob was born on November 30th, 1966 in Indianapolis, IN to George E. Golding III and Sally Ross Golding. Rob graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School, class of 1985 and earned a bachelor's degree at Wichita State University in Criminal Justice. He continued his career in law enforcement with the Wichita Police Department. Rob gained a brotherhood with his fellow officers to keep communities safe. He loved helping people and making a difference in people's lives. Rob retired from the Wichita Police Department in 2014 to move to Arizona to be with his family. Rob had an enthusiastic interest in cars and motorcycles. He took his passion and went to work for Barrett Jackson on the Auction Block, where he lived his dream. Riding his Indian Motorcycle and doing charity rides with his 62 motorcycle club. All that knew him, loved him, he was quick witted and always made you laugh. Friend and family are invited to a gathering on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Leppert Mortuary, 740 E. 86th St, Indianapolis, from 10:30-1:30 with funeral services at 1:30 p.m. He will be laid to rest next to his father at Crown Hill Cemetery immediately following the services.
