gh school sweetheart, Donna Jean Stephens. They enjoyed 61 years together and loved two children, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Years later, following the death of his beloved Jean in 2005, he married Patricia Wallace in 2009. Johnie and Pat had less than 8 years together as she died in 2017. He dearly loved his family, and had a strong faith in God and Country. He loved sports, especially football and baseball ( both of which he played in high school, military service, and on local post-WWII adult teams). Following in his Great Grandfather's footsteps, he played the banjo and loved Bluegrass music. He owned and started several local businesses throughout his long life: Webb Electric Co. in the 1950's W & O Construction Co, in the 1960's- 1980's; Lion Oil Co. in the 1960's- 1970's and Family Star Market in the 1980's. Throughout this time , he designed or built more than 50 local residences, commercial building, and the swimming pool at Standing Stone Park. Always interested in giving back to help his community, he was active in many local civic group: Lions, Fair Board, Masons, County Commission, Pioneer Day, establishing the Livingston Airport, and numerous State-wide organizations. He loved flying his entire life and was instrumental in building the Livingston airport. Johnie is survived by one daughter: Janet and husband Johnny Gann of Livingston. Four grandchildren: Wm. Lynn and wife Cecilia Gann of Houston, TX; Jeannie and husband Chad Cavendish of Fredericksburg, VA; Wesley and wife Cailey Webb of Baxter, TN, and Shanae Webb of Cookeville, TN. Eight great-grandchildren; Jordan Gann of Fayetteville, AR; Julia Gann and Jaden Gann of Houston, TX; Mason Cavendish, Audrey Cavendish and Ethan Cavendish of Fredericksburg, VA; Branch Webb of Baxter, TN, and Ava Grace Webb of Cookeville, TN. He is also survived by a sister: Betty and husband Bill Sells of Gambril, MD; and a brother: Kenneth and wife Jimmie Webb of Livingston. In Addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by a son, John Stephen Webb; a brother, Dempsie Webb; and sisters, Edith Webb, Gladys Biddle and Sue Anna Brock. Pallbearers are, Grandsons- Lynn Gann and Wesley Webb, Chad Cavendish and great-grandsons- Mason and Ethan Cavendish, and nephew - Matthew Frazier. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the great folks at the Overton County Health & Rehab Center for 4 1/2 years of loving care; to Dr. Michael Cox and his staff for their devotion; and the wonderful staff of Caris Healthcare for their dedicated care and assistance. Finally, thank you to everyone who made time to visit and lighten our sorrow. We do literally "Get by with a little help from our friends..."
