Marion Edwards (nee Finnerty), 78, of Sheffield Lake, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2018 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she lived in Sheffield Lake since 1959.
Marion earned a business degree from Lorain County Community College. She was employed by Krogers in Sheffield Lake for 20 years. Marion was an avid reader and shared her passion for reading with others as a volunteer adult literacy tutor. Her greatest enjoyment in life was being with family. She loved to laugh and will be fondly remembered for her smile and sense of humor.
Marion is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Paul Edwards Sr.; son, Paul Edwards Jr.; daughter, Annemarie Edwards-Nosse; and grandchildren, Collin Edwards, Cole Nosse and Cameron Nosse, all of Sheffield Lake. Surviving siblings are Deborah and Anne. Marion was preceded in death by her beloved son, Hugh Edwards; parents, Hugh and Marion Finnerty; brother Gerald and sister, Kathleen.
