Funeral services for Mr. Bernard P. Gore, age 84, of Anderson Indiana and formerly of Overton County, will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Storm will officiate. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery. The family will welcome friends & family on Thursday morning, March 15th from 10 a.m. until time of services at Speck Funeral Home. Mr. Gore passed from this life in Anderson, in the comfort of his loving family on Monday evening, March 12, 2018. He was born in Overton County on January 1, 1934 to the late Frank L. & Della Cantrell Gore. He served his country in the Army during peacetime. He married Velma Lee Hammock on May 6, 1957. He worked for many years and retired from General Motors Corporation. Bernard had a deep love for animals and took his pets wherever he traveled.
