Robert E. Wille

A funeral service for Robert E. Wille will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Good Hope Lutheran Church, Titonka with Reverend S. Kim Peterson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 9:30 A.M.

Robert Edward "Bob" Wille, son of Richard and Bertha (Wagner) Wille, was born May 7, 1922 on the family farm near Cross Plains, Wisconsin. Bob grew up on the farm along with his two older sisters, and older brother. He attended country school and began farming with his brother Ernest.

On October 8, 1955, Bob was united in marriage to Helen Baehler at Grace Evangelical Church in Madison, Wisconsin. Bob and Helen moved to Madison, where they made their home and raised their two daughters. Bob worked as a custodian for the Madison Public Schools, first at Frank Allis and later at Herbert Schenk, until his retirement in 1987. Bob and Helen enjoyed dancing, playing cards, traveling and spending time with their family. Bob was a past member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin, and was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Titonka.

Robert E. Wille died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society, Algona.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Suzanne and her husband Gregory Huebner of Scottsdale, Arizona and Karen Hamilton of Titonka. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Sara (Byron) Light, Amado, Arizona, Daniel (Monica) Huebner, Woodland Park, Colorado, Elizabeth Anderson, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jacob (Haley) Hamilton of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, Zachary Hamilton, Saint Paul, Minnesota, and Nathan (Amy) Hamilton, Titonka; and nine great grandchildren, Socorra Smith, Matilda, Remy, and Helen Light, Zander and Kane Huebner, Savannah and Wyatt Anderson, and Madison Hamilton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
