James Sobczak

James P. Sobczak 71, of Englewood, FL passed away suddenly on March 18, 2018. Jim was born February 14, 1947 in Toldeo, OH and lived there until retirement in 1994. He was a graduate of Whitmer Sr. High School and attended the University of Toledo. Jim was in the National Guard then became a firefighter and paramedic for the Toledo Fire Dep. He enjoyed skiing with the Toledo Ski Club and was an avid golfer. Jim is survived by his sister Sandra Frost, nephews David and James Brennan and Joel Frost, many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by wife Joyce (Krasa) Sobczak, parents Clarence and Dorothy Sobczak, Caroline and Robert Harman and companion for many years Donna Szymenowski.
