Ray Charles Austin, age 81, the son of Walter and Ora Lee (Knight) Austin was born April 28, 1935 in Grady, Arkansas. He passed away December 8, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Ann Austin. He is survived by his children, Renee Austin of Honolulu, Hawaii, Derrick Austin, Richard Austin (Brenda), Rodney Austin, David Austin, Michele Mitchell (John) all of Omaha, Nebraska; siblings, Barbara Vaughn (Ray) and Lee Austin (Myra) of Detroit, Michigan; 29 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.[more]
