Dawn M. Anderson

Dawn M. Anderson, 59, of Waterloo, died at Covenant Medical Center, on Friday, March 23, 2018 of natural causes. Dawn was born on July 9, 1958 in Waterloo, daughter of Floyd Sr. and Jeanette (Rausch) Matejka. She attended West High School. Dawn married Charles Edward Anderson on February 24, 2003 in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2010. Survived by her son, TJ (Caryn) Lindholm of Marion; daughter, Ashley (Darius) Marsh of Marion; five grandchildren, Michael Tanner, Hannah Lindholm, Christian Lindholm, Mika Marsh and Ayden Marsh; sister, Joanne Henson of Grundy Center; three brothers, Floyd (Jill) Matejka Jr. of Morrison, John (Gail) Matejka Sr. of Grundy Center, and David (Patrice) Matejka of Livonia, MI; boyfriend, Jonny Garcia of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Weisert. Dawn was a loving mother, awesome grandma and terrific storyteller with a great sense of humor and vivid imagination.
