Joyce Alene Bradshaw was born on Nov. 4, 1927, in Canby, Minnesota. She was the oldest child of Lloyd Francis Haight & Clara Veronica Mork. Joyce graduated from Upsala High School in 1945, attended Mankato Teachers College, and began teaching school in the fall of 1946 in Staples, Minnesota. She later moved to Drummond Montana to teach. While there she met Dan Bradshaw, who was serving in the U.S. Air Force. They were later married in Tacoma, WA in May 1953. After Dan was discharged they moved to Bozeman, Montana.
Their first daughter, Suzanne, was born while they lived in Bozeman. After Dan graduated they moved to Seattle, WA.
Their next child, Carol Jean was born in 1959. Rodney was born in 1961 and Robert was born in 1963.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, her only brother, Roscoe, and a younger sister, Ellen Jane. She is survived by four sisters, Jean, Mary Ann, June and Betsy, her husband Dan, all four of their children, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on April 4th at the LDS Church located at 5701-8th Ave. N.E., Seattle, WA.
There will be a viewing one hour prior.
