Kimberly Lee Diaz

Kimberly "Kim" Lee Diaz, 44, of Muncie, passed away early Sunday morning, April 1, 2018, at her home in Muncie, Indiana. Kim was born on Monday, July 23, 1973, in Muncie Indiana, the daughter of Donald L. and Barbara D. Lowrey. Kim was a loving daughter, wife and mother. She participated in serving the Lord at The Jar Community Church for twelve years. She volunteered in the church nursery and was part of the greeting team. Kim's love for everyone was infectious along with her bright smile. She loved to be around children and babies and was so knowledgeable of how to care for them. Kim enjoyed spending time with loved ones, riding her bike and working out doing Zumba. Kimberly fought a hard battle with cancer for two years and had been on hospice in her home for six weeks. She went through several types of treatment and gave it her all, so that she was able to attend her daughter's wedding and see her son begin driving his first vehicle. Her family was lucky to have her for two years as the doctor said it would only be six months, Jesus resurrected on Easter Sunday and took her home with Him. Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ova Helen Lowrey, Donald Lester Lowrey, Evelyn Waters, Max Waters, and uncle, Scott Lowrey.
