Francisca A Perez

Francisca Aguirre Perez, 98, passed peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Francisca was born on April 2, 1919 in Melvin, Texas to parents Francisca and Alberto Aguirre. She married Nemesio Perez and together they raised their family in Melvin before moving to San Angelo in 1955. She worked in the community, regularly attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was known to all as "Guela." She was full of life, love and acceptance, as was evident in the sheer number of family members, friends, and neighbors, who stopped by to see her day after day. Her faith, love, and strength was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her sister, Ascension "Chonita" Morua of Goldwaithe; daughters: Estela Perez Santos and husband Manuel Santos, Berta Perez Linton and husband Daniel Martiarena, and daughter-in-law Florence Perez; all of San Angelo, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, as well as caretakers, Guadalupe and Isauro Romero and Lupita Perez.
