Samuel Y. Wan, 71, of Bellevue, WA, died at 10:29pm on Friday April 6th, 2018, due to complications post-bypass surgery. He passed away surrounded by loved ones en route to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA. Samuel was born on July 28th, 1946, in Saigon, Vietnam, where he was raised with his 7 brothers and sisters. In 1960, he migrated to Seattle, WA to be with his family and also to further his education. He attended the University of Washington and graduated in 1973 with BA in Business Administration. During his time in college, he met his future wife Christina L. Wan in 1969. Known as a hard working man, he was employed in the field of business management in Seattle, WA for over forty years. He was known as a generous, kind-hearted and jovial man, and was loved by all people who knew him. He was well respected in the family as well as in the community. He was a dedicated family man who loved to cook, travel, and follow local sports teams. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christina, and his son Jayson S.
