Mary Frances Ragland

Miss Mary Frances Ragland began her sunrise as the only daughter of the late Mr. Milledge and Mrs. Annie Lee Ragland on June 15, 1933. Her Sunset was on April 17, 2010. She was educated in the Coweta County School system where she attended the Howard Warner School. She graduated with honors from Howard Warner in 1952. She left Newnan and lived much of her adult life in New York and Connecticut. She returned to Newnan to live out her remaining years with her devoted nephew and niece, Mr. & Mrs. Alfred (Wanda) Ragland, Jr. She attended many churches upon her return to Newnan but remained committed to the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; Mr. & Mrs. Milledge Ragland, her brother and sister in law; Mr. & Mrs. Bobby (Ossie Jean) Ragland, and sister in law; Mrs. Mildred Ragland. She leaves to mourn her passing, a brother, Mr. Alfred Ragland, Sr., two devoted nieces; Ms. Patricia Morris and Mrs. Lucille Walton, niece; Ms. Sonya Ragland, six nephews; Mr. & Mrs. Alfred (Wanda) Ragland, Jr., Mr. Sammy Ragland, Mr. Gary Ragland, Mr. Ollis Ragland, Mr. Bobby Ragland, Jr. (Lil Bit), and Tony Ragland.
