Ronald 'Ronnie' Ray Cain, 61, of Tipton, died of respiratory failure on Friday, April 13, 2018, in Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Cedar Valley Park, Shelter #1. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Ronnie was one of five sons born to Edward Eugene and Jane Lee Eichenauer Cain. As son number two he entered this world on June 27, 1956 in Iowa City, Iowa. Ronnie attended Tipton High School and retired after 20 years of employment working for H.J. Heinz Company in Muscatine, Iowa. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time with his son. Ronnie was relentless and was not going to give up without a fight. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sherry Cain, of West Branch, Iowa, his son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Hayley Cain and their daughter, Quinn, of Tipton, Iowa; his brothers and their wives, Randy and Dixie Cain of West Liberty, Iowa, Terry Cain and Billy and Connie Cain of Tipton, Iowa; and his companion, Viki Martinez of Tipton, Iowa.
