Brittany N Sevrey, age 28, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born on April 17, 1989 to Stephen Whyte and Kimberley Dawes in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Brittany graduated from Orchard View High School in 2007, where she cheered and played softball and volleyball. Continuing her education, Brittany graduated from Muskegon Community College in 2012 and Chamberlain University College of Nursing in 2014. Brittany worked as a Registered Nurse at Affinia Health Network at Hackley Hospital. She also taught nursing classes at MCC and was currently working towards her Master of Nursing Education at Indiana Wesleyan University. Brittany lived her life fearlessly and always to the fullest. She was adventurous and spontaneous, liked to travel and camp, and enjoyed taking trips to Silver Lake with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen; grandfather, Robert Dawes; and uncle, Bradley Dawes. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 18 at 3:30PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 17 from 5-8PM.
