Sandra R. DiStasio

Sandra R. DiStasio, 78, of Englewood Florida, died April 14, 2018. She was predeceased by her spouse of 60 years, Andrew E. DiStasio, and son Andrew Scott DiStasio, her sister Iris and grandchildren Stacey Lyn Dastoli and David M. DiStasio Jr. Born in Concord, New Hampshire, on September 10, 1939 to Hermos and Bernice (Jones) Laprise. She and her husband Andrew E. DiStasio relocated in 1977 from Wallingford, CT. She was a homemaker as well as a musician. Their band was named "Sandy & Andy Dee Duo" and they played in several area establishments. She is survived by her two daughters, Rae Janise and her husband Foca Dastoli of Kensington, CT, and Dacia Ann and her husband Richard Jondron of McKinney, TX and son Henry Sweeney, of Columbia, CT and David and Sandra DiStasio of Wallingford, CT; sisters, Donna and her husband Larry Davis, Cheryl and Richard Church, Brian Bernard; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Englewood Chapel of Lemon Bay Funeral Home. A celebration of Life will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.
