Nancy L Miller

Nancy Loucille Haeg Miller, 79, of Keokuk, IA, passed away on April 16, 2018, at her home. Nancy was born on November 16, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Francis and Johanna Fischer Haeg. She was united in marriage on December 20, 1958, to Harold Duane Miller in Minneapolis, MN. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2012. They had moved to Keokuk in 1958. She had worked at Sheller Globe in data processing. She served in the Navy. She was a member of the BPW club. Nancy enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing, woodworking, stain glass and fishing. She attended athletic activities of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed music and later really enjoyed the blues. Nancy would go to blue festivals in Quincy and Rolling on the River. Nancy is survived by her two children: Todd Miller and fiancé Julie King and Lori Kayvan, all of Keokuk; and five grandchildren, Haley (Randy) Beelman, Laney Miller, Morgan (Reggie) Suhling, Zoe and Paige Kayvan, five great grandchildren: Kyler and Landyn Beelman, Sloan Suhling, Joseph and Kashbyn Krumey, four brothers: Frank, Jerry, James, and Steve Haeg; two sisters: Betty Engel and Maggie Dean and many nieces and n...[more]

hews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, with Jeanne Kuckelman officiating. Following the service, Nancy will be buried with full military rites in Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 with family meeting friends from 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at DeJong - Greaves Celebration of Life Center. Memorial may be made to Keokuk Humane Society.
