David Howard Thompson

David Howard Thompson was born April 24, 1954 in Buffalo Center, to Howard Melvin and Carol lone (Skogen) Thompson. He grew up on a farm near Bancroft graduating from Ledyard High School in 1972. Following high school he started working at Winnebago in Forest City where he worked for 41 years, retiring in 2012. David was united in marriage to Ginger Sage on October 8, 2005 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Buffalo Center. David enjoyed fishing, boating, watching Nascar, golfing, bowling, gardening, playing bean bags and wood carving. When he was younger he enjoyed snowmobiling. David had a love for animals. He and Ginger adopted many animals together. He was a member of the Izaak Walton League and Ducks Unlimited. David's main enjoyment in life was being a husband, dad, and a grandfather. David H. Thompson died Friday, April 20, 2018 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, at the age of 63.
