Vincent Nottingham

Muncie-Vincent "Nick" Nottingham, 69, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 17, 2018, at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born Wednesday, June 16, 1948, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Roger C. and Margaret (McGarrell) Nottingham. Nick was employed at the Muncie Boys Club where he had worked as a social worker and later, owned and operated Nick's Brass Depot. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to the YMCA, and playing the lottery. Nick is survived by his son, Mason Nottingham (significant other, Tollie Banker); daughter, Gina (Sean) Smart; brothers, Chris Nottingham (significant other, Helene Vonnegut) and Eric Nottingham; sister, Emily Nottingham; and significant other, Del Herald. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 at 1:00 p.m. with Jim Floyd officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. The family has requested that all who attend dress very casually.
