d of 57 years; her son, David; three brothers, Earl, Frank and Art Ashton; and one sister Evelyn Lietz. Allene was friend to everyone she met and made everyone feel loved and special. Those meeting her for the first time, or multiple times, walked away after the encounter with their burdens lightened and their faith strengthened. If one hesitated to let her pay for a meal, she wasn't above using the phrase "Don't take away my blessing" to get her way. Always said with a twinkle in her eye and grin on her face. This was her motto: "Why God Made Hugs" Everyone was meant to share God's all abiding love and care So God made hugs a special sign A symbol of His love divine A circle of our open arms To hold in love and keep out harms A tiny bit of Heaven above That signifies his perfect love.
