Keith Alan Bertelsen

Keith Alan Bertelsen, age 61, passed away April 29, 2018 at the Hospice House in Omaha. Keith was born January 10,1957, in Council Bluffs to Emil and Betty (Wright) Bertelsen and attended Missouri Valley and Thomas Jefferson High School. Keith was a machine operator for many years at Bluffs Paving. He is preceded in death by his father, Emil Bertelsen, Jr. Survivors include 5 children, Bryan (Ashley) Bertelsen of Council Bluffs, Melissa (Tyler) Hildenbrand of Indianola, Iowa, Shelby (David) Bertelsen, Matthew Bertelsen, Cody Bertelsen all of Corydon, Iowa; 8 grandchildren, Kennady, Peyton, Hayden, Aubrie, Logan, Rachael, Riley and Maci; mother, Betty Bertelsen of Council Bluffs; sisters, Karen (Keith) Crandall of Papillion, Neb., Kathryn (Larry) John; brother, Gene (Rita) Bertelsen all Council Bluffs; sister, Janet (Gail) Witt of Honey Creek, Iowa; brother, Ron Bertelsen of Avoca, Iowa; sister, Julie(Larry) Walling of Council Bluffs; many nieces, nephews.
