Tracy Cummings-Matherly

Tracy Elizabeth Cummings Matherly, 55, of Hallandale Beach, FL, passed away on May 8, 2018 in her sleep from complications of Crohns and Lupus. Tracy was born in Boynton Beach, Florida on September 12, 1962. She graduated from McArthur High School and worked for the Internal Revenue Service until she retired. In Tracy's retirement she could always be found on any beach, with her camera in hand ready for the opportunity to take a photo. She loved to take pictures of nature and then share the photos with friends and family. Tracy is survived by her children Melissa and Derek Matherly, 3 sisters and 3 grandchildren who all loved her dearly, along with countless friends. Tracy will be greatly missed by many, as she had an immense heart who touched all who came in contact with her. She was a unique spirit, who always spoke on the importance on family, love and forgiveness. She loved life and would want everyone who knew her to celebrate her life and think of her the way she lived it - happy somewhere on beach.
