Gregory John Nackers

PULASKI- Gregory John Nackers, age 62, entered eternal life on Saturday, May 12, 2018, after a battle with ALS. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home. Greg was an avid outdoorsman who loved to be outside hunting, fishing, camping, cycling, and just enjoying God's creations. Gregory's positive outlook on life and constant acts of kindness to all those around him will be forever missed. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith; four children, Christopher (Jen) Nackers, Steven (Kirsten) Nackers, Jeremy Simkowski and Sidney (Caroline) Simkowski; four grandchildren, Elena, Declan, Tristan and Sebastian; six sisters, Carla (David) Hoffman, Donna (Neil) Armstrong, Gail (Ken) Demerath, Charlotte Roskom, Ellen (Todd) Schroeder and Cindy (Jody) Schneider; three brothers, Terry (Kelly) Nackers, Daryl (Becky) Nackers and Bryan (Diane) Nackers; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at ASSUMPTION BVM CATHOLIC CHURCH, 124 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 19, 2018, with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski O.F.M. presiding.
