Mr. Milo "Mike" M. Pierce, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. He was born on September 11, 1951 to Willie and Vivian (Sheneman) Pierce in Muskegon. On June 17, 1992, Mike married the former Georgia King Riggs in Holton. Mike proudly served his country for 33 years while in the Marines and Navy, retiring in 1993. He received numerous awards and medals while in the service. He loved fishing, hunting and watching his old high school football team, the Oakridge Eagles. Mike loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. He was a gentle giant and known by most as "Papa." His favorite saying was "Have a fine Navy Day!"
