Burdette August Limkemann

Burdette August Limkemann was born on May 6, 1945 in St. Olaf, Iowa to Henry and Ramona (Perry) Limkemann. He attended schools in Calmar and graduated from South Winneshiek High School in 1964. He worked for 30 years as a machine operator at Viking Pump and retired in 2000. Burdette was saved in August of 1962 at Calvary Baptist Church in Decorah. After that, he was a very active member at Hagerman Baptist Church. He volunteered at the summer camp, was an usher, and sang in the choir for services. Burdette loved playing golf and enjoyed going fishing with his family. Burdette August Limkemann died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his home at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Robert; and sister: Lori.
