Joseph "Joe" Amonett

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph "Joe" Amonett, age, 76, of Byrdstown will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. President Tony Huddleston will officiate. Burial will be in the Amonett Cemetery with military honors provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Joe passed from this life on Sunday night, May 27, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Pickett County Tennessee on February 10, 1942 to the late Cull & Eula Jones Amonett. Joe was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed woodworking, and working in general. Joe loved his family immensely.
