r night and often had two to three going at the same time - her favorites being mysteries. In November of 2002, Judy joined Loren, Sr. as a member of Bethany Freewill Baptist Church where they loved their church family. Also, she and Loren enjoyed getting away to Greenleaf State Park. Even after Loren's passing, Judy continued that tradition with other family and friends. Spoiling her grandchildren, Taylor and Trey, who affectionately referred to Judy as 'Mimi' was also on Judy's list of things to do. She and Trey took many trips over the years and when Taylor was young, 'Mimi' loved taking her to garage sales and shopping at the 'Old Will Store' where they would buy many 'treasures.' Judy and Loren, Sr. also loved their fur babies, Daisy then Bunny, who brought Judy much comfort after Loren's passing. More recently, she added another standard poodle to her home, Annie. A great 'Mimi' and a great hostess, Judy loved entertaining her family and friends. She and Loren were known for their Fourth of July celebrations with wonderful food, friends, family and lots of fireworks. Most other holidays were also spent at their loving home. Loving, gregarious, a survivor, generous, funny, and a bit stubborn are all words that have been used to describe Judy. This loving wife, mother, sister, 'Mimi' and friend was loved by many and she will certainly be missed by those she leaves to carry on her legacy. Judy passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Tulsa. She was 73. She is survived by: her children: Shelly Morgan and husband, Dr. Bill Morgan of Tulsa; son, Loren Sunday, II of Bixby; grandchildren: Taylor Morgan and Loren Sunday, III (Trey); a brother, Milton "Gunny" Gunnarson, Jr. and his wife, Sue along with other dear relatives and a multitude of friends. The family suggests memorial donations be gifted in Judy's memory to the John 3:16 Mission; 575 N. 39th West Ave., Tulsa, OK 74127.
