Roger A. Davids

Roger A. "Butch" Davids, age 76, of Council Bluffs, passed away June 6, 2018 at his home. Butch was born September 4, 1941 in Kanawha, Iowa to the late Will and Irene (Boomgarden) Davids. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Butch was an inspector for the USDA until his retirement. He is survived by his daughters, Kelly Lea and Kimberly Salts; son, Rodney Davids all of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Dillon, Nolan, Rachel, Brody and Craig; great grandson, Tyson; former wife, Karen Davids of Council Bluffs; brother, Jim (Anita) Davids of Urbandale, Iowa; sisters, Ramona (Gene) Harkin of Aplington, Iowa, Sue (Rev. Jack) Magness of Beatrice, Nebraska, Doris Swenson of Belmond, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
